The Ngoma Tomato Processing Plant (NTPP) was established by Afrinet Solutions Group Ltd, a Rwandan consultancy and development company legally incorporated in 2020. Afrinet focuses on delivering innovative and sustainable solutions that transform agriculture, support businesses, and create new market opportunities.

Building on this mission, Afrinet launched NTPP as Rwanda’s first modern tomato processing facility, connecting farmers to reliable markets while producing high-quality, affordable tomato products under the Zawadi brand, including tomato paste, sauces, ketchup, and juice.

With support from the National Council for Science and Technology, University of Rwanda, and Swisscontact through the CASA Programme, NTPP links smallholder farmers to stable markets, increases rural incomes, and strengthens Rwanda’s food system. Today, Zawadi and Valanto Juice symbolize quality local production while supporting national food security and the Made in Rwanda initiative.
