Ngoma Tomato Processing Plant (NTPP) is a Rwandan agro-processing company established by Afrinet Solutions Group Ltd to promote value addition, reduce post-harvest losses, and create sustainable market opportunities for local farmers.
NTPP processes locally sourced tomatoes into high-quality products under the Zawadi brand, including tomato paste, sauces, ketchup, and juice, while also producing Valanto Juice. Through strong partnerships with farmers and modern processing technology, the company contributes to increased rural incomes, food security, and the growth of Rwanda’s agro-industrial sector.
The development of NTPP has been supported through collaboration with key national and international partners, including the National Council for Science and Technology (NCST), the University of Rwanda, and Swisscontact through the CASA Programme. These partnerships have played an important role in advancing innovation, technology transfer, and sustainable agribusiness development.
Today, NTPP stands as a symbol of Rwanda’s growing agro-industrial capacity, delivering quality products that meet consumer needs while advancing food security, import substitution, job creation, and the objectives of the Made in Rwanda initiative.
